Just the mention of BTS is enough to send an ARMY of fans running over to see if the group is anywhere in sight. The K-pop group's devoted fan base has made the boy band massively successful. In fact, BTS is supposedly responsible for bringing $3.6 billion into South Korea's economy yearly. Yes, billion. Though BTS is successful and rich as a group, each individual member has their own personal brand that makes each of them filthy rich individually. One member with a crazy net worth is Jeon Jungkook, simply known by his stage name Jungkook.

Though Jungkook originally wanted to be a badminton player, he made it big as one of the world's biggest K-pop stars. After realizing he wanted to become a singer, Jungkook auditioned for a South Korean talent show, but unfortunately was not selected. Something good did come out of his audition, though. He got noticed by several entertainment companies including Big Hit Entertainment, the company which now manages BTS. While training he did a stint as a backup dancer for South Korean girl group, Glam, also managed by Big Hit Entertainment.

Eventually he made his debut with BTS in 2013. With BTS, Jungkook has released several albums including their most recent, Map of the Soul: Persona, which sold 2.6 million pre-sale copies alone. You can only imagine how much money that put into Jungkook's pocket.

As a part of BTS, Jungkook has also recorded solo singles. On the 2016 BTS album, Wings, he sang "Begin," which talks about his journey moving from his hometown of Busan to Seoul, South Korea. Jungkook also sang the track "Euphoria" from the 2018 album, Love Yourself: Answer. The song was accompanied by a nine-minute short film.

Not only does Jungkook sing, but he can also produce music. Jungkook has producing credits on BTS's "Love is Not Over" and "Magic Shop."

Together with BTS, Jungkook has also participated in a lot of tours. Their most recent tour, the "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" tour recently wrapped up its North American leg, leaving Jungkook quite emotional at the end. The tour sold out several stadiums across the world, so Jungkook probably pocketed a bit of money from all those stage performances.

Jungkook has probably earned a few checks from his time on the small screen, too. He's appeared on several South Korean television programs including Flower Crew, Celebrity Bromance and King of Mask Singer.

Jungkook could also potentially get paid big from product endorsements. His accidental endorsements have helped brands gain big bucks. In January 2019. Jungkook simply mentioned that he uses the brand Downy to do his laundry and the company's stock rose by more than 11% in one day. In South Korea, the product sold out almost everywhere. As a part of BTS, Jungkook has had several endorsement deals with brands like Puma, Coca-Cola and Mattel, which has designed a line of dolls modeled after the BTS members.

So, you can expect that Jungkook is earning a lot of money from these deals.

Just how much? Well according to Celebrity Net Worth, the sum of all of Jungkook's projects are worth about $8 million. As BTS continues to break records, Jungkook will definitely keep making more money.
