Last week, 18-year-old Ciera Clark found what appeared to be a hair in her favorite "Ice Cold" Skin Frost from Jeffree Star Cosmetics.

The incident went viral and eventually led to a Twitter feud between Clark and the founder himself. But now, Jeffree is setting the record straight. What Clark initially thought was a human hair is actually a bristle from one of the machines used during packaging.

"A brush tool (like a paint brush) is used to clean the machines in between every time they press the powder down," Jeffree told Seventeen.com. "So sadly a tiny bristle fell into one of the machines."

The issue has been resolved, with Clark receiving a full refund and a shiny new Skin Frost, so hopefully no one else will find a little bristle in their ~shimmer~.
